Position Info Position Early Childhood Educator Terms of employment Full-time Permanent Wage 18 21 hour (depending on experience) Working Hours 30-40 hours week Number of Positions 2 Work Location 5660 192 street Surrey BC V3S 2V2 Benefits 4% vacation pay Medical and Dental benefit Job Duties Develop child-care programs that support and promote the physical cognitive emotional and social development of children Provide children with opportunities to express their creativity through fun and diverse activities Engage children in activities by telling stories teaching songs and preparing crafts Help and assist children build proper eating dressing and toilet habits Observe children s progress& behavioural problems and prepare reports for parents and supervisors Keep a healthy environment that protects the well-being and security of children Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children Plan and implement lesson plan activities and experiences that are developmentally appropriate Job requirements Experience Experience is an asset Education College Certificate or Diploma in Early Childhood Education is required Certificate First Aid Certificate & CPR Certificate and E.C.E.
