A Sanitation Worker has a dirty job but it s one that most communities can t live without. Sanitation Workers make sure neighborhoods streets and public areas stay clean and they dispose of trash in safe effective and environmentally friendly ways. A sanitation Worker must be physically fit so he or she can quickly climb in and out of large trucks and lift heavy trash containers. The person is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the warehouse. Cleaning spills pulling plastic dust mopping and working in a cold freezer. Pay Rate for this Job is 12 Hour Shift Timings - All Available Responsibilities Include Good interpersonal and communication skills. Thorough knowledge of cleaning methods and cleaning supplies. Skilled in the use of housekeeping equipment Skilled in the use of floor maintenance equipment and supplies. Ability to stand for extended periods of time lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs. tolerate frequent bending stooping and climbing stairs Ability to follow oral and written instructions. Ability to communicate effectively and to maintain positive relations with faculty staff and employees Qualifications Ability to multi-task and establish priorities. Ability to exhibit initiative responsibility flexibility and leadership. Excellent organization skills. Ability to work from 11 pm - 8 am Monday - Friday. Experience Required but we will train the right person Experience overseeing the work of others. Previous custodial experience cleaning various types of floors. Demonstrated experience using cleaning products.
