The PeopleReady located at Huger South Carolina 29450 is currently hiring a Steel Cutter Job Description PeopleReady ofCharleston has an IMMEDIATE OPENINGS forSteel Cutters inHuger SC. This is a LONG TERM and TEMP-TO-HIRE POSITION. We are looking for associates experienced with operating a torch cutter cutting large pieces of steel into smaller pieces for transport. Facility is not air conditioned and full PPE is required including use of a respirator. Associates will be working outdoors in the elements at times as well. Note - Pay Rate for this Job is 17.50 Hour 12-hr shifts Shift Timings - All Available. Responsibilities Cutting flattened pieces of steel into smaller manageable pieces for transport Able to lift up to 50lbs repetitively Ensure you conduct yourself in a safe manor keeping your work area clean Qualifications Submit to a drug screening (hair Follicle screening) Ability to work the entire shift Reliable transportation Previous experience operating a torch cutter Ability to work in extreme hot and cold areas Background check required Must be willing to submit to a respirator fit test.
