This Privacy Policy describes how Advertigo ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects your information when you use the Advertigo Marketplace website at www.advertigo.net and the Advertigo Marketplace Android application (package name: net.advertigo.marketplace) (together, the "Service").
1. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information. When you register to post classified ads, we collect your e-mail address, a display name and a password (stored in hashed form).
- Ad content. The text, photos, price, category, city and contact details you choose to include in the classified advertisements you post. This content is published publicly as the purpose of the Service.
- Usage and log data. Like most websites, our servers automatically record standard technical data such as IP address, browser type and version, device type, pages visited, and the date and time of requests. We use this data for security, abuse prevention and to operate the Service.
- Cookies and similar technologies. We use cookies to keep you signed in, remember preferences (such as your selected country and language), protect the Service against automated abuse, and measure aggregate site usage. You can control cookies in your browser settings; disabling them may limit some features.
2. Advertising
The Service displays advertising served by third parties, including Google AdSense. These providers may use cookies, device identifiers and similar technologies to show ads that are relevant to you and to measure ad performance. 5. The Android app
The Advertigo Marketplace Android app is a lightweight wrapper (Trusted Web Activity) that displays the www.advertigo.net website. The app itself does not access your contacts, location, camera, microphone, files or any other device data, and does not collect personal information beyond what the website collects as described in this policy.
6. Data retention and deletion
Account data is kept while your account is active. Expired ads and their content are removed or archived according to our routine clean-up schedules. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by contacting us at the address below; we will action such requests within 30 days unless we are legally required to retain certain data.
7. Security
We use administrative and technical measures appropriate to the nature of the data - including HTTPS encryption in transit and password hashing - to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
The Service is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. International users and your rights
The Service is available worldwide.
