Job descriptionThe Bilingual (English Spanish or French) Business Development Recruiter supporting the Veterans Evaluation Services (VES) administered by Maximus makes an impact everyday by developing building and coordinating a network of qualified medical providers to service the contracted Compensation & Pension ( C& P ) Medical Disability Examination ( MDE ) needs of the Department of Veteran Affairs (the VA ) for international locations specifically Canada (and the United Kingdom as needed). This position is temporarily remote due to Covid-19 however you must be able and willing to work on site in our Houston TX location when needs arise. As a federal contractor Maximus is subject to Executive Order 14042 and the Safe Workforce Task Force s COVID-19 Workplace Safety Guidance for Federal Contractors and Subcontractors. In light of these requirements all employees will eventually need to be fully vaccinated as a condition of employment and new hires employees will be required to provide proof of vaccination.Job Description SummaryMake unscripted connection calls to independent medical providers for the purpose of recruiting them to VES s nationwide network of providers Arrange conference calls with providers when needed to answer questions about the VES credentialing training and examination process Document and maintain detailed notes for communication and exchanges with all potential and current providers Send preliminary information letters to potential providers including contracted pay rates for their geographical region Assemble and distribute the VES credentialing packet to providers and facilitate the completion of required documents in a timely manner Consistently work with international team to meet turnaround time guidelines Achieve superior level of productivity in a demanding and high energy environment Find diagnostic facilities in foreign countries able to perform needed testing for C& P exams and handling invoicing as needed Additional Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist other team members with contacting providers regarding rates billing and other issues associated with the providers and or their staff Work closely with the team to fill Open Service Requests ( OSRs ) Coordinate travel for providers when needed Attend meetings as directed Work effectively within a team dynamic Adapt to new instructions requests or procedures as provided Maintain the confidentiality of Veterans and providers records RequirementsSome college required Business or Marketing degree preferred Sales and or recruitment experience required Medical equipment sales Medical software sales Pharmaceutical Sales Physician Recruitment preferred Advanced customer service and sales skills Language fluency in Spanish or French preferred Self-Motivated and self-directed Strong ability for strategical thinking and planning High sense of urgency Strong ability to get results Advanced time management skills and detail-oriented with strong ability to meet strict deadlines with minimal supervision Advanced verbal and written communication skills to include excellent grammar Advanced reading and comprehension abilities Advanced multi-tasking skills Advanced organizational and prioritization skills Proficient typing skills Proficient with Microsoft Word Microsoft Outlook Adobe Acrobat general internet research and beginner knowledge of Microsoft Excel Home Office RequirementsInternet speed of 20mbps or higher required (you can test this by going to www.speedtest.net) Hardwired internet (ethernet) connection Private work area and adequate power source
