The Challenge We are looking for an experienced Engineer to join our Facilities Maintenance team in our Raleigh headquarters. In this role you will Lead project management construction administration for projects designed by private outside consultants. Manage the consultant acquisition process all project design phases and oversee construction administration. Ensure designs comply with NC Construction Office protocols procedures and guidelines NC Building Codes and other applicable regulations. Oversee our GIS and building database systems. Assist with the development of capital improvement budget preparation and asset inventory management. Frequently travel to active construction projects across North Carolina. What You BringExperience monitoring and ensuring construction projects meet specification design standards. Skilled expertise in determining program project priorities processes and procedures. Experience managing projects for completeness compatibility and compliance with engineering principles design needs standards. Ability to resolve approve major project program changes. Demonstrated ability to approve program project budgets schedules design phases change orders and requests for payments. Consultative skills to regularly collaborate with senior decision-makers. NoteWe may require registration as a professional engineer by the NC Board of Examiners for Engineers and Surveyors.
