Registered Nurse Sr. Manager (Remote located in New York)

Maximus is currently hiring for a Sr. Nurse Manager to support the Conflict-Free Evaluation and Enrollment Center (CFEEC). The CFEEC serves the State of New York by conducting a UAS assessment to determine eligibility for community-based long-term services. The Sr. Nurse Manager will lead and support a team of Nurse Managers use their leadership skills to support large and diverse teams and make a difference in the lives of the New Yorkers we serve. About the Conflict-Free Evaluation and Enrollment Center (CFEEC)The Conflict-Free Evaluation and Enrollment Center (CFEEC) serves the State of New York by conducting a UAS assessment to determine eligibility for community-based long-term services. The outcome of the assessment informs whether the individual qualifies for in-home services. Position ResponsibilitiesParticipate with project and executive management to establish strategic plans objectives initiatives and work plans Assist in the day-to-day running of the core functional areas to ensure compliance with the prime contract all subsequent amendments program business rules as well as state and federal regulations Analyze daily weekly and monthly reports for performance measurement and efficiencies Assist the Nurse Director to facilitate a functional motivated and cohesive project team Directly supervises and manages key Project staff Work with Project and executive management to develop monitor and revise performance goals and objectives for the project and staff and monitors achievement of those goals Provide direction to team members and resolves issues identifies solutions in a timely and professional manner Assist in the creation and implementation of innovative methodologies process improvements and corrective action plans to continually streamline and improve project operations outcomes and quality Minimum Requirements Bachelors Degree in a health social services or communications RN license in the state of New York 1 year of management experience 5 years of related RN experience Prior experience using the UAS-NY Community assessment tool Preferred Experience 3 years of management experience 7 years of related experience preferred MA degree in a health social services or communications field preferred
