The ChallengeWe are looking for a skilled mechanic to join our Gatesville Equipment Subshop team to do semi-skilled and small engine automotive heavy equipment and mechanic work. In this role you will service diagnose repair rebuild mechanical systems for gas- and diesel--powered automotive and heavy equipment. What You BringExperience performing preventive maintenance on light medium or heavy duty trucks or heavy equipment. Experience diagnosing and repairing air intake systems including turbo systems. Diagnostic skills of basic electrical systems and proper wiring repairs. Basic hydraulic system repair skills including component replacement and hoses. Computer skills using diagnostic and repair information systems. NotesYou will be required to furnish a complete set of mechanic tools. You must possess a valid commercial driver s license - Class A with N endorsement within 60 days of hire. A pre-employment drug test is required. We will do a background check with previous employers for the past 2 years about controlled substances and alcohol. We may require current certification by the EPA as a Type I II III or Universal Technician. Safety Shoes are required.
