Job Duties Correctly apply payments or refunds to borrower accounts. Prepare maintain report financial exception data collection explain the variances identify the causes and reconcile accounts. Assist in preparation of monthly exception financial review and reporting. Prepare daily weekly monthly exception accruals. Assist with data requests by providing supporting documentation within a specified timeframe. Utilize financial systems to their maximum potential and make reporting effective efficient timely accurate and insightful. Prepare documents for external auditors during periodic reviews and audits. Research various exception accounting issues and propose appropriate accounting treatments. Education and Requirements High School degree or GED required. Minimum six (6) months customer service administrative or call center experience required. Experience working both independently and in a team oriented collaborative environment. Must have high-speed internet (minimum of 20 mbps) to work from home remotely. Must connect an Ethernet cable directly to the router (cannot connect via Wi-Fi.) Proven analytical and problem-solving skills. Effectively prioritize and execute tasks conforming to shifting priorities demands and timelines. Strong written and oral communication skills. Job Description SummaryThe Financial Processor will help to ensure the integrity of the company s accounting financial data as they examine verify balance and reconcile various types of financial transactions reports and analysis. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Works on assignments that are routine in nature with responsibilities easily learned on the job. Prepare account reconciliations and various analyses supporting month end quarter end financials and help to ensure the integrity of accounting financial data. Minimum Requirements High School diploma or equivalent with 0-1 years of experience. Education and Experience RequirementsMust reside in the U.S. Must be a U.S. citizen. Must be able to pass a criminal background check. Must not be delinquent or in default on any federal student loans. Employment and continued employment are contingent upon obtaining and maintaining a favorable clearance. Final suitability determination is the sole discretion of the Department of Education. Must live in the Greenville Texas area As a condition of employment with Maximus newly hired employees must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccination(s) by date of hire.
