Remote SCADA Engineer needs 5 years HMI SCADA solutions development experience for electrical power monitoring and control applicationsRemote SCADA Engineer requires 5-10 years of HMI SCADA installation and configuration Experience in any of the following or similar computer programming languages (Python C C CiCode or JavaScript) database design (MS-SQL) or HTML development. Good understanding of communication protocols and interfaces such as ModBus and IEC 61850 Computer Science & Software Engineers PLC basic programming and troubleshooting experience Exposure to emergency power generation and distribution including switchgear control applications and generator control applications Development of software standards for modular scalable reusable solutions Detail oriented strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills BS in Electrical Engineering Software Engineering or Computer Science HMI SCADA solutions development experience for electrical power monitoring and control applications Experience in projects developed in Citect SCADA WonderWare HMI SCADA Power Scada (PSO) Experience in leading individual projects or small teams of 3-5 individuals Remote SCADA Engineer duties Engineering systems typically used in the monitoring and control of electrical power distribution.
