Project Engineer needs 6 years experience as a Project Engineer project management or combined years of system application engineering or technician experience.Project Engineer requires 6 years Project engineering experience 6 years Project management experience System application experience Construction knowledge Deployment Ecommerce Web HVAC BMS and or security systems as well as practical understanding of construction means and methods building codes and standards Strong understanding of contracting procedures and experience with responsibilities such as project correspondence documentation timely notice of changes and claims negotiation and subcontract and vendor management Project Engineer duties Mentor and coach other employees in their development as a current or future Project Manager or Project Engineer Execution of projects with increasing complexity duration and size Plans directs and coordinates activities of project teams to ensure that projects are executed in accordance with all company and site safety requirements Accomplished on time implemented at or below the estimated cost and billed in a timely fashion throughout the duration of the project Accountable for financial management on all assigned projects Prepares installation subcontractor bidding documents descopes and negotiates subcontracts and manages schedule change orders and billings Responsible for all customer facing communication Manages resources by planning scheduling and forecasting manpower and resource requirements Generates a Project Execution Plan for approval by leadership when required and executes project in compliance with contract documents project estimate and approved execution plan
