Fredlaw Transportation LLC is an established and growing Carrier Agency and has an immediate opening for remote home based booking agentsThe position entails negotiating rate confirmations terms between our several hundred Carrier leased Owner Operators and approved credited freight brokerages with available truck loads offered in the spot market.Please keep in mind when apply that we are a Carrier Represented Agency. We book market freight on to our own Carrier leased Owner Operators.Experience involving the movement of freight by open deck and specialized equipment is preferred.This position is an offsite cloud based 1099 contract position with a commission based on individual productivity. Booking and dispatching experience is a plus. Applicant should have a proven record in customer service knowledge of Microsoft Office or Linux Libra Office and strong negotiation skills. Back office work is done in our main office. We provide our Booking Agents with a company email and telephone number.This position is a full-time (9am to 5pm M-F east coast time) contracted position. Applicant should be able to work remote independently and as a contributing memeber of the agency team. Applicant needs to possess a computer printer and telephone line (cell or land line)Full support and training in agency procedure is provided at no cost to the contractor.
