Product Development Technician

Product Development Technician needs 3 years or more related experience in the polymer Adhesives or Coatings Industry Product Development Technician requires Education and or Experience Bachelor s degree (B.A.) in a Chemistry related or Material Science field from a four-year college or university Associate s Degree (A.A.) in Chemistry related or Material Science field with five or more years related experience and or extensive training in the polymer Adhesives or Coatings Industry or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously good observation and communication skills. Strong problem-solving skills. Professional laboratory skills are essential. Product Development Technician duties Complete raw material evaluations for replacements and quality improvements. Prepare laboratory batches and coordinate and participate in testing as needed for approval with customers. Specific product improvement projects as assigned. Design and complete controlled experiments as needed. Perform methods and Standard operation procedures and summarize experimental results. Present experimental results in front of Product Development team. Perform routine product testing with minimal supervision safely accurately and deliver results in accordance with the project timelines. Prepare clear lab data reports. Perform instrument calibration maintenance and troubleshooting. Ensure lab and staff safety by identifying hazards and maintaining all safety health and environmental (SHE) guidelines.
