Remote Web Content Accessibility Specialist needs 1-3 years of experienceRemote Web Content Accessibility Specialist requires automated and manual testing good communicators Experience working with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) accessibility standards and guidelines Knowledge of disability law including but not limited to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Familiarity with assistive technologies such as JAWS NVDA VoiceOver and Talkback. Degree in human interactions would be good. Testing tool Arc Familiarity with mobile testing would be really good. IAAP Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC) credential Flexibility to continuously adapt to meet the ever-changing needs of the market Experience within financial services or other highly regulated industry Experience with web technologies (HTML CSS ) Experience with mobile accessibility iOS & Android Remote Web Content Accessibility Specialist duties Collaborate with UX and technology partners to provide initial assessment of digital application(s) and determine appropriate testing and remediation approaches Perform accessibility assessments using various forms of automatic manual and assistive technology tools Execute accessibility tests within the software development lifecycle as needed As an accessibility subject matter expert guide educate and train while moderating team office hours that support various resources across the enterprise as needed Continually adapt to meet the needs of our ever-changing market.
