Mulesoft Developer needs 2 years as a Mulesoft developer supporting production systems troubleshooting within the Mule Runtime Platform API and Gateway tools.Mulesoft Developer requires Minimum of 5 years development implementation support and maintenance of a vendor supported system 2 years experience with Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) 3 years experience working with databases and data integrity. 3 years experience in data mapping and metadata concepts 3 years experience using object oriented programming languages such as Java or C A minimum of 3 years experience working with REST SOAP based web services Strong oral and written communication skills. Experience interacting with Salesforce is a plus. Experience with Mule 4 Experience with NOSQL databases such as MongoDB or Redis Experience supporting advancement systems applications Experience in a Research 1 university supporting an integrated vendor supported systems. Experience with higher education Mulesoft Developer duties This role will be responsible for integration development including but not limited to the following activities Design efficient and detailed APIs in RAML using an API first approach Build high quality System Process and Experience APIs that are scalable extendable and reusable Employ custom policies frameworks and components as needed to solve complex problems elegantly Construct logical and reusable Mule flows using connectors components DataWeave and Java as necessary Create custom wrapper and proxy APIs for automation integration and orchestration o Set up message exchanges and queues for event driven publisher and subscriber applications Work with embedded API gateways with various load balancing topologies Setup security models policies and permissions for APIs and exchange assets Utilize CI CD tools and repositories like Git and Jenkins to build and deploy applications Work across various integration platforms and with the associated stakeholders business users to translate business requirements into creative scalable and efficient technical designs Understand and follow company policies surrounding data governance security and API development o Identify and resolve technical issues Work with the software vendors and other IT Services departments to determine best method to resolve issues Develop an understanding of Advancement Systems business processes Develop an understanding of Service Management concepts ITIL processes
