NEW HIGHER SALARY 37 577 - 65 760 The ChallengeWe are looking for an experienced Engineering Technician to join our Sanford Resident Engineering team to lead project inspections of moderately-complex projects supervise junior technicians and assist survey parties. What You BringExperience with contract administration. Knowledge to understand Transportation Engineering contracts plans standards and specifications. Experience performing inspections samplings and materials testing (concrete asphalt density) to ensure compliance with NCDOT specifications. Computer skills using iPads desktop Microsoft Office HiCams Share Point and math functions. Experience maintaining neat legible and accurate records and reports including data entry. Strength to lift and carry at least 50 pounds and agility to traverse rough terrain. NotesYou may be exposed to high traffic volumes work at heights over water or traffic and work in extreme temperatures. You may be required to work nights weekends and or holidays. Safety toe shoes required. Education & ExperienceAssociate s degree in Civil Engineering Technology Survey Technology or a related field and 2 years relevant technician-level experience or An equivalent combination of training and experience.
