Information Security Engineer needs 3-5 years experience Information Security Engineer requires Raritan NJ Rochester NY Remote from other areas Bachelor s Degree required with a preference in Computer Science Business or related discipline. Professional certification such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or other industry recognized information security credential is a plus. Demonstrated experience with networks endpoints architecture and solution engineering Demonstrated familiarity with administration and operation of networking devices including Cisco routers switches wireless access points Palo Alto firewalls and VPNs. Must have current knowledge and experience in information security and a combination of the following technologies o Palo Alto Firewall o Networking technology o Windows Linux servers o Windows 10 o Office 365 Azure o Web applications like Apache or Tomcat o Virtual servers o Cloud Flare o TrendMicro Deep Security o Cisco OpenDNS Umbrella Possesses and displays excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to convey information to internal and external customers in a clear focused and concise manner. Ability to work with all levels of the organization both technical and non-technical High level of personal integrity ability to professionally handle confidential matters and reflect appropriate level of judgment and maturity is required. High degree of initiative dependability and ability to work with little supervision is required. Must have the ability to recognize opportunities for change and act as a catalyst for change management. Must have the ability to analyze document and assess complex corporate environments Effective project management skills and the ability to work on multiple concurrent projects is required. The High degree of initiative dependability and able to work with little supervision Must have strong working knowledge of network technology (routers firewall switches subnetting) Information Security Engineer duties Maintain TrendMicro Deep Security agents troubleshooting deployment migration Operational support of Cisco Umbrella Review firewall requests sanitize requests to company standards and review with approving manager Solution architect and engineering requests for security engineering and solution architecting Ensures that information security deployments are properly architected implemented and have defined operational support. Troubleshoot application security issues Provide security consulting services as needed to various projects to ensure all information security needs are met Work with minimal supervision and be responsible for independently making a broad range of critical decisions. Apply sound judgment escalating issues and decisions to the appropriate executive when necessary.
