Experience with RDBMS systems such as Oracle or Microsoft SQLServer. Must have Java SQL and Linux development experience. Minimum two years of experience with Linux Operating System. Experience with Git version control software. Previous experience in Higher Ed. Previous experience working with open-source software and collaborating on open-source products. Previous experience working with single sign on technologies such as Okta. Previous experience working with Privileged Access Management solutions such as BeyondTrust or Cyberark Previous experience working with proxy software such as EZ Proxy. Previous experience working with network authentication tools such as RADIUS. Previous experience mentoring junior resources. Previous experience working with Active Directory. Previous experience in DevOps. Previous experience developing full-stack web-based applications Preferred Competencies Professional and effective written and oral communication skills. Ability to use standard software development applications and tools. Ability to use analytical and quantitative skills and diagnostic techniques to resolve problems. Ability to manage complex technical details. Familiarity with project management processes and methodology. Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical staff. Ability to effectively converse with and listen to all levels of users to understand their environment and the impact of system changes. Deep understanding of the cultural requirements on a campus for collegiate and participative interactions. Ability to work in a collaborative team environment. Confidentiality related to sensitive University matters such as strategic initiatives trade secrets quiet periods and scientific discoveries yet to be put in the public domain. Ability to work on a flexible schedule which will include occasional late night and or weekend hours. Familiarity with LDAP. Knowledge of concepts practices and procedures of software development. Familiarity with NOSQL databases.
