LDAR Monitoring Technician

Trihydro one of the top environmental and engineering consulting firms in the country has an opening for an LDAR Monitoring Technician. Based in Fort Collins CO you will join our Air and Process Team and will assist with air quality monitoring associated with Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) monitoring programs as well as other regulatory compliance activities in an industrial setting. This role involves approximately 40-50 hours of work per week and requires up to 25% overnight travel predominately within WY NE MN IA SD NM TX but could include nationwide travel. What LDAR Monitoring Technician s Do Our LDAR Monitoring technicians assist our clients in complying with environmental regulations by identifying equipment leaks for repair thus helping prevent emissions. Work Environment This position consists primarily of field-based work and requires walking and standing for extended periods. Due to the outdoor nature of the role work occurs in all weather conditions. This Role May be Right for You if You Have An interest in understanding how gas plants operate A basic mechanical aptitude Experience within an industrial setting (preferred not required) Strong technical and problem-solving skills including attention to detail and accuracy Acceptable written and oral communication skills with a strong desire to build successful relationships with clients and project team members.
