Serve as our backup HR management system (FIORI) actions approver and HR professional in qualification and salary administration. Review job applications to determine applicant qualification status. Review hiring packages to ensure compliance with merit-based hiring practices. Review salary recommendations to ensure compliance with salary administration policies. Engage with Division 11 staff in interpreting and applying personnel and NCDOT HR policies to address issues regarding hiring packages actions and HR-related issues. Conduct new hire orientations for the Division. Perform other HR duties. What You Bring Experience and technical skills to independently and accurately process retrieve or reference personnel data from database systems such as SAP Fiori. Experience interpreting and applying federal state laws relating to Human Resources. Customer service experience through email and phone. Experience exercising judgment and discretion in the application and interpretation of personnel policies and procedures. Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems such as NEOGOV. Education & ExperienceAssociate s degree in Human Resources or relevant field and 1 years experience or 2 years of HR experience or An equivalent combination of education and experience.
