We serve the needs of a wide variety of customers from golf course commercial financial and specialized service industries. Position Objective The prime function of the mechanic technician is to inspect repair and clean all golf cars turf mowers and other golf course equipment for auction or other forms of liquidation.Position Responsibilities Clean inspect and repair golf course equipment as required. Effectively communicates equipment issues with supervisor to ensure customer satisfaction. Perform safety inspections on equipment and maintains a clean and safe work environment. Conduct preventive maintenance when needed. Clean work vehicle and work area as necessary to maintain a safe work environment. Meets all company governmental and equipment related safety requirements. Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor or authorized personnel.Year s Experience High School Diploma or GED 1 -2 year s experience with similar equipmentOther requirements Must own and be able to effectively and safely use mechanic s tools and equipment Must have a valid driver s license and acceptable driving record Ability to communicate equipment issues and understand job assignments Must have good written and verbal communication skills Ability to prioritize work assignments Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems including (but not limited to) mechanical electrical and hydraulic components. Exhibit personal and professional integrity Exhibit a clear understanding of the necessity of equipment safety Must be flexible regarding work assignments Must exhibit a high level of safety consciousness Possess a working knowledge of individual equipment design and safety requirements
