(License cannot have any restrictions such as LOFTS or Probationary status and cannot have any suspensions and or any moving violation offenses in the last 3 years) Qualified applicants will have at least 5 years of experience in ground service equipment maintenance ASE certification a plusJOB KNOWLEDGE SKILL AND ABILITY Must have own tools and be able to operate various power and hand tools safely Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals Ability to read an electrical schematic Ability to read a Hydraulic flow schematic Must have knowledge of heavy-duty diesel automotive equipment Experience with troubleshooting and repair of complex hydraulic and electrical systems required Knowledge of Generators 400 hz as well as 28voltPOSITION DESCRIPTION Provide prompt response to equipment service requests Service vehicles & belt loaders (unleaded diesel and propane engines) lavatory service trucks baggage carts ground power units and more Have a working knowledge of Preventive Maintenance Programs Perform light & Heavy repairs on GSE equipment Diagnose engine mechanical issues and repair (Diesel gas and LP) Troubleshoot A C and D C electrical systems Utilize computer software to diagnose Powertrain Management Systems Repair 80 & 48 volt DC systems Troubleshoot and repair Airstart systems Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems Complete equipment repairs Comply with established Company safety policies and procedures Ensure the security of supplies and equipment Work on the ramp as needed Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of the managerPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Position requires frequent lifting bending reaching grabbing pushing pulling walking climbing standing squatting kneeling twisting turning and repetitive movement for extended periods of time Ability to lift heavy objects overhead for extended periods of time Must carry up to 100lbs frequently and work in confined spacesBENEFITS Competitive salary Free uniforms Paid training Holiday pay Employees may be eligible for Verizon and AT& T discounts Paid time off (FT only) Medical Dental and Vision insurance (FT only) Life insurance (FT only) 401K (after one year of service for employees who are 21 years of age and up) (FT only)PLEASE NOTE This is a summary of the position and requirements please visit www.accufleetcareers.com .
