Wage 24 hr (40hours per week) Ironworkers will perform the following Read Detail Sheets in conjunction with Structural Drawing and specifications to lay out the work Unload and stack rebar bundles so each piece can be hoisted when needed Layout place and tie reinforcing rods and welded wire mesh according to best-accepted current practices in a wide variety of poured concrete structures such as buildings highways bridges stadiums and towersPre-assemble reinforcing by laying it out and prefabricating cages on the ground prior to final placement Organize the hoisting of material by connecting cables and slings to material and direct crane operators with hand signals or radios Assemble and erect pre-fabricated units Requirements Experience Minimum 5 years experience in the field of reinforcing (rebar installing) Education Grade 10 (Completion of High School is preferred) Must have the ability to work at heights and outside in all weather Must have the ability to act quickly and decisively in emergencies Must be strong coordinated agility and balance Must work cooperatively with others Must Speak and Understand English Please send your resume to our email at brian(at)heritagesteel.com
