Zip Express Transportation & Logistics is now taking applications for a Full Time 3rd shift Warehouse Manager Zip Express has been in business for over 25 years. We have 12 hubs covering 10 states. Responsibilities to include Overseeing nightly operation Receiving and sorting product Ensuring product is distributed correctly.Safety and security of the Warehouse and all products Keeping track of all routes and assuring they arrive and get started on time Reporting any issues delays etc. Coordinating overnight deliveries Answering phones Customer service. Inventory and inventory control. Working closely with and communicating the customers needs and requirements to Independent Contractor drivers. Working closely with our customers to ensure they are satisfied. Working closely with the Branch Manager and operations staff. Must be A strong communicator. Both verbal and written. Must be 21 years old Must have computer knowledge. Excel and Office a plus. Must be dependable and reliable with a proven track record. Must be a take charge hands on Manager with excellent problem solving skills. Must be flexible and willing to learn all operations of the business and take on different roles during vacation sick leave etc. Must pass background check and drug screen. NO EXCEPTIONS Experience in the transportation field is a plus but not required. We will train the right person.
