Job Title Day Income Auditor Department Accounting Reports To Income Audit Manager FLSA Status Non exempt Prepared Date 10 2015 SUMMARY The Day Income Auditor is responsible for the daily balancing and reconciliation of hotel food beverage and retail outlet revenues and report preparation balancing and depositing credit card receipts. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned Reconcile all departmental revenue postings Review correct and re-allocate Spa & Yamaguchi revenues per Concepts POS. Review correct and post banquet charges balancing to Delphi reports. Produce banquet recap. Report all variances and anomalies found Post and allocate non-interfaced revenue centers as well as off-line Micros charges Sort daily tickets. Produce Micros HIS interface variance report noting and resolving interface variances Balance and transmit credit cards Maintain Opera and Micros computer systems including performing resets and back-ups Review and distribute Micros void and discount checks reports Maintain audit controls Maintain daily checklist of daily tasks completed Post income journal Produce and distribute DRR (daily revenue report) and other internal reports QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and or EXPERIENCE High School graduate or general education degree (GED) 1 year hotel accounting or related field experience. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts interest commissions proportions percentages area circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic math. REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
