Freight Forwarding Sales Executive

Our client an established growing Logistics Company is seeking a Sales Executive to expand its business in the Newark NJ area. Responsible for managing and organizing all activities within the sales cycle including researching cold calling maintaining the CRM system prospecting pipeline development cross selling proposal development and closing on new business. Ensure annual sales goals by line of business and key performance indicators are successfully met. Will also work collaboratively with the various departments in support of new business development through solution based selling and customer retention. Extensive travel as required. Bachelor s degree in business marketing or related discipline is preferred plus a minimum of three years of sales experience in the freight forwarding and Customs brokerage business (industry experience is required). Must have excellent communication computer (MS Office and CRM software) organizational problem solving and time management skills. Operations experience a plus.
