KELLY SERVICES IS NOW HIRING IN COLUMBIA Kelly Services has exciting new job opportunities in the Columbia area. These positions are for Material Handlers in a manufacturing environment that specializes in the production of a soy based meat alternative. The Material Handler is an entry level manufacturing position who will be aiding in the making preservation and shipping of product. They will be assisting machine operators as well as packing loading unloading as well as examining products to make sure they adhere to quality standards. Qualifications for this position are as follows -High School Diploma or GED. -Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs if needed. -Must be able to work 12 hour shifts. (Usually a 40 hour work week with shifts at 6 00 AM - 6 30 PM or 6 00 PM - 6 30 AM). -Flexibility to work all shifts including mandatory overtime if needed. -Must have reliable transportation. -Be able to follow food safety guidelines. -Be a good team player and possess a positive attitude. -Ability to read and understand all safety signage standard operating procedures sanitation operating procedure interoffice communication. -Be detail oriented and able to work with little or no supervision.
