We are currently looking for a Fitness Instructor who is excited and motivate to helping our members reach their fitness goals. Strengthening and Conditioning Certification required It is a set schedule Mondays and Fridays 6am to 1pm and Tuesdays Wednesdays Thursday 12pm to 8pm JOB DESCRIPTION PRIMARY PURPOSE AND FUNCTION Actively promote the philosophy mission statement and vision of Planet Fitness. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES o Show exemplary customer service skills to members guests and potential members. Customers are to be treated courteously and given proper attention at all times o Greet potential members members and guest with proper and appropriate pleasantries o Check clean supervise the gym floor tanning rooms and locker rooms and replenish supplies as needed o Accurately fill out sign (as needed) forms in accordance to the customer s needs and situation including but not limited to Membership Agreements Billing Authorization File Maintenance etc. o Supervise clean and monitor the Front Desk area and replenish supplies as needed o Facilitate tanning massage training Guest Register Daily Recap Black Card guest sign-in and PF member visiting sign-in. o Accurately perform tours membership presentations and info calls to potential members. o Stock drinks fold t-shirts file and date entry as needed. o Process credit card cash and check transaction via Point of Sale o Professionally and courteously serve disgruntled dissatisfied irate members and customers including but not limited to membership balances regarding complaint issues. o Practice integrity reliability honesty in all business transactions o Project a positive company image at all times o Work with co-workers as a team o Other duties as assigned KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL o Ability to demonstrate exemplary customer service skills o Competent with basic computer skills o Posses the ability to multi-task and be proactive o Demonstrate problem solving and people skills o High accuracy in work attention to detail o High School diploma or equivalency required o Proven written and oral skills required bilingual is preferred PHYSICAL DEMANDS o Standing for long periods of time o Frequent alpha numeric keyboarding o Oral communication over the phone and in person o Ability to view computer monitor o Be able to lift up to 75lbs o Clean and sanitize with approved chemicals
