eDiscovery Analyst

Job Ref 1898 Location Washington DC Relocation No Salary High Salary Summary Assisting the agency Criminal group with eDiscovery matters. Identify data repositories that should be searched including database systems. Complete e-mail search requests (i.e. users mailbox and personal archived emails) for potentially relevant ESI using e-Discovery tools. Complete text message search requests using e-Discovery tools. Complete searches for potentially relevant unstructured data (i.e. WordPerfect documents) stored in personal and shared drives using e-Discovery tools. Collect potentially relevant data for legal holds. Initiate other queries as directed by the Task Lead. Assist the Chief to set standards and streamline processes for identification preservation and collection. Consult with IT personnel regarding the design and development of search tools. Act as the liaison to IT experts required to fulfill legal hold needs or roles (steps taken to find and produce responsive documents including email to ensure discovery was diligently completed in good faith). Apprise issues around embedded metadata the implications in e-Discovery and make recommendations on solutions for metadata cleansing. The Contractor shall administer files so that people can easily access needed data at all times without the assistance of Contractor personnel. This includes tracking searches related to litigation case requests. Perform all manner of administrative functions. This includes preparing any notes managing schedules and performing other similar duties. Qualifications 1. Ideal candidate has a degree 2. Research litigation matters and other search requests 3. Experience working with classified and unclassified e-mail and word processing documents such as Word or WordPerfect on file servers. It also includes structured data found in the customer s numerous database systems. 4. Proficient with eDiscovery tools and systems required 5. Technical understanding highly desired 6. Must have an active DOJ or DoD Top Secret clearance Bottom line requirements 1. Bachelor s Degree. 2. Recent experience in research of litigation matters. 3. Recent experience working with classified and unclassified e-mail and word processing documents such as Word or WordPerfect on file servers. 4. Proficient with eDiscovery tools and systems. 5.
