Operations Research Analyst

Collect and analyze business data from a variety of sources to provide valuable information to improve warehouse processes including the optimization of the Warehouse Layout identify inefficiencies and contribute to the corrective actions. Use Lean Six Sigma tools and other root cause analytics to identify waste. Review Internal Processes and work with Team Leaders to develop and implement solutions. Assist the Warehouse Manager in developing models and tools to ensure effective cost controls in Warehousing & Transport. Independently identify process gaps recommend and implement process improvements collect relevant data and perform analysis to drive change and improve efficiencies map and document processes. Establish transportation metrics and design continually improve the corresponding analytic score carding and reporting tools that provide actionable insights to the other transportation team members. Use transportation market analytics to determine lanes geographies where rate reduction opportunities exist and develop the corresponding transportation bid strategies. Work with the transportation specialists the TMS tool and the TMS service provider Lean Logistics to maximize route guide compliance and optimize the efficiency and accuracy of the load planning results (generate no-touch load plans). Participate in continuous improvement projects across the supply chain and work with team members to develop alternative solutions.
