On Call Banquet Lead Henderson NV Aston Montelago Village Resort is seeking a dedicated food & beverage enthusiast to join our team Apply now www.astonhotels.com careers Ref. 13-156 THIS IS AN ON CALL POSITION (hours will be scheduled on an as needed basis) On Call Banquet Lead Henderson NV Position Summary Assist with the coordination and set-up of all meetings and banquet functions for all properties manager by Aston. Responsible for the appropriate and timely set-up of all functions. Position Responsibilities Assist with banquet set-up and breakdown and any other catering details as required. Review all written communications (i.e. BEOs agendas and schedules). Establish a rapport with meeting planners. Greet and serve guests. Maintain clean and sanitary working environment at all times including but not limited to kitchen facility work stations storage areas and meeting rooms. Assist banquet staff with all duties until the end of the shift. Keep an up-to-date inventory of linen and supplies. Maintain a strong client relationship to ensure all conference needs are communicated to all departments. Accountable for adhering to established accounting procedures and protocols. Perform other duties as assigned. Position Qualifications High School degree diploma or equivalent. Minimum 1 year of banquet food and beverage experience. Must know proper serving techniques and knowledgeable of all food and beverage equipment and audio visual equipment TB Clearance and Alcohol Card.
