Local Truck DriverPOSITION OVERVIEW Now hiring experienced CDL Class A Full-Time Truck Drivers to operate a Local Dedicated position in the Brattleboro VT area for a large carrier. 2000 Sign On Bonus and 160 Per Day While In TrainingREQUIREMENTSValid Class A CDL Must live within 40 miles of Brattleboro VT 6 months trucking experience Great Customer Service Skills SHIFT Off on either Wednesdays or Thursdays and off every Sunday Start time is 12 am- 5 am Home Daily RESPONSIBILITIESDrivers will operate a reefer trailer delivering groceries (fresh and frozen) to distribution centers and supermarkets 2-3 stops per trailer Backhaul will be picked up as well as returned products at final stop and brought back to the distribution center No touch freight for the most part however unloading can sometimes be required Other accounts in the local area will be supported as needed Drivers will operate in Connecticut Maine New Hampshire Vermont Massachusetts Rhode Island and New York (but not New York City) Unless an account is not running drivers will be required to work on holidays if the holiday falls on their scheduled work day.
