Knowledge of RegEd s Xchange system Knowledge of Microsoft Office with great ability to use Excel and Visio a strong plus Knowledge of Insurance Carrier and Agency filing requirements Excellent oral and written skills be able to prioritize workflow and work independently Exceptional analytical skills and proven project management abilities Knowledge about firm compliance regulatory and jurisdiction registration requirements state insurance regulations concerning sales practices and producer licensing industry-specific practices terminology and administration In depth knowledge of the National Insurance Producer Registry (NIPR) and State Insurance website look-ups Compliance Insurance licensing Associate duties Maintain strong current knowledge of NAIC and State Insurance licensing rules and regulations and ensure that appropriate managers and business partners are adequately informed Work with management to assess the validity effectiveness and future needs related to insurance licensing and carrier appointment process. Recommend develop and implement improved cost-effective compliance strategies processes policies and procedures Proficient in using excel and creating pivot tables Support Finance and Licensing in pulling data to support annual state tax filings Support the tracking and creation of metric reports Licensing liaison to the associates business partners and vendors Knowledge and expertise in updating and filing initial and amendment applications Ensure accurate and timely filing of all required firm (Agency and Carrier) and agent filings Monitor the continuing education and training requirements
