We are potentially hiring for a qualified civilian Pharmacy Informatics Technician (IT) to join our team of talented professionals who provide health care services to our veterans and their families at the Dwight David Eisenhower Army Medical Center and outlying pharmacies clinics located at Fort Gordon Military Base in Georgia. Accrued Paid Time Off (PTO) & Paid Holidays 401K Plan The Pharmacy Informatics Technician (IT) must have the following qualifications Degree Education Minimum of a Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology from a program accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET (Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology) Certification Basic Life Support Experience One year of experience in pharmacy or health care informatics Duties Assess and assist with matters related to computer hardware software automated pharmacy data processing equipment and other information management and communication devices processes and security issues Integrates computer communications and information management technologies into pharmacy operations to enhance patient safety efficiency and cost-effectiveness to improve their quality of life Provides technical support and liaison between the remove account offices (prime vendors remove ordering sites) and analysts (pharmacist and technicians) transferring data coordinating upgrades issuing passwords and troubleshooting problems Due to contractual obligations with the DoD Health Care Workers performing under this contract must either be a U.S. citizen or as defined by the Department of Homeland Security U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services either a noncitizen national of the United State lawful permanent resident of the United States or alien authorized to work in the United States You will love being part of the Matrix family of Providers whose focus since day one has been selflessly giving back to our hard-working and devoted military servicemen and women.
