Valet parks guest s cars if requested by the guest. Develops thorough knowledge of the Lodge property hotel staff hotel services with hours of operation guestrooms including locations views amenities features types etc. Upsells the amenities of the Resort i.e. restaurant golf pool fitness club spa stables etc. Acts as an information center for guests by recommending shopping areas recreation facilities theaters restaurants and points of interest. Gives accurate directions and information regarding the immediate and surrounding areas. Keeps the entrance to the hotel lobby bell stand and bell closet clean. Keeps luggage carts clean and neatly arranged in their designated areas at all times. Protects guest and Lodge assets by following proper handling procedures. Delivers guest s amenities. Handles guest problems with courtesy concern and sincerity. Reviews group cover sheets and event sheets daily to ensure that they are informed of all meetings groups. Answers the telephone promptly and courteously according to Resort Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Convey passengers to and from predetermined locations Assist passengers in loading and unloading their luggage into the vehicle Maintain decent conversation with customers and assist them with directions Answer passengers questions in a polite and gentle manner Maintain constant communication with the dispatcher or manager Carry out regular check on the shuttle vehicle before and after each day s run Obey all traffic rules and regulations guiding the operation of shuttle services in his her assigned area. This may include plying the predetermined routes not going beyond stipulated boundaries and collecting the agreed fare Dress in a neat and professional manner. This may be in accordance with the shuttle service company s dress-code or in accordance with the stipulated dress-code for drivers operating in that area.
