The ChallengeWe are looking for a program coordinator to join our DMV Renewal Titles and Plate team at our our new Rocky Mount headquarters. In this role you willLead the DMV Renewal Titles and Plates Section team administer their daily work and ensure high performance and accuracy. Become proficient in examining title registration and identification documents to detect fraudulent altered or suspicious items. Analyze problems and communicate directly with other supervisors assistant managers and managers with special projects. Regulate the distribution of requests for vehicle registrations services. Be the Head Cashier responsible for all revenue generated in the unit including ensuring that cash payments are authentic. Ensure the security of the daily deposit and that proper money procedures are measured. Provide assistance to all sections of the Renewal Title and Plate Unit when needed. Maintain spreadsheets on unit team data. Use the State Automated Registration System (STARS) system daily to create and modify titles and registration approve refunds and research and resolve inquires and issues. Provide technical and administrative assistance to the renewal and title examining personnel. Compose letters and complete close files and forward them for imaging. Notify employees of new policies procedures and Statutes affecting their work Provide backup support for the management team. What You BringExcellent customer service experience dealing with a diverse internal and external customers. Experience managing internal and external customer complaints. Solid written and verbal communications skills Skills examining legal documents to ensure compliance with applicable laws rules or regulations Experience applying and enforcing rules and regulations interpreting and explaining policies rules regulations and procedures. Computer skills in Microsoft Office and use of centralized web-based databases.
