The ChallengeWe are looking for a skilled HR Manager to lead our Policy Administration and File Room Operations teams. In this role you will Plan coordinate and establish policies procedures work priorities and deadlines. Work with NCDOT managers in interpreting and applying personnel policies in complex sensitive or new situations. What You BringComprehensive knowledge of personnel and management practices policies and procedures. Considerable knowledge of state agency programs. Extensive knowledge of Federal State laws relating to human resources. Demonstrated ability to exercise judgment and discretion in applying and interpreting personnel department guidelines and policies in complex sensitive or new situations. Excellent verbal and written communications skills and experience working with employees and management on a one-on-one and group basis. Education & ExperienceBachelor s degree in Human Resources or relevant field and 5 years of relevant and 2 years in an HR leadership role or The equivalent combination or education and experience.
