The ChallengeWe re looking for a Real Property Agent Trainee to join our Stanly County Right of Way team. This unique opportunity provides a 24 month training opportunity with a salary increase every 6 months for the first 2 years. AND you will get FULL state benefits upon hire. Your salary will start at 39 000 jump to 41 000 after 6 months 43 100 after 12 months 45 400 after 18 months and hit 48 100 at the 24 month mark. In this role you willHelp acquire real property for Highway Construction. Contact property owners of real property to be acquired explaining plans and describing real property to be acquired. Make monetary offers based on appraisal and damages and explain how the appraisal offer amount was determined. Prepare deeds and easement agreements for the acquisition of right of way on highway projects and secondary roads. Handle relocation assistance of a highway projects by assisting displaced residential and business owners in moving and relocating off the proposed right of way. Assist in moving personal property including signs billboards and other items associated with the clearing of the project. Assist individuals in locating purchasing and or renting replacement property. What You BringThe ability to advise property owners tenants of their rights and how they will be affected by the project. Capable of interpreting highway right of ways and construction plans including cross-sections typical sections of profiles and prepare legal instruments of conveyance describing areas of right of way to be acquired. Skills to interpret and convey to the public requirements of federal & state regulations regarding the Uniform Relocation Act. NotesNight and weekend work may be necessary. You must obtain an NC Notary Certification within 3 months of employment. Management Prefers Candidates with a valid Driver s License.
