Financial Application Reviewer

The Application Reviewer will review and process PIA (Program Integrity Assurance) applications and supporting documentation to determine funding commitments based on the E-rate Program procedures and guidelines. Work will be done on-site at the Maximus Pittsford NY location. Work schedule will be Monday through Friday 8 30 a.m. 4 30 p.m. This is a limited-service position.Pay and Benefits Base rate 18.00 hr Benefits health vision dental & 401k Supportive work environment Many opportunities for promotion and career advancement into global company Essential Job Duties Conducts reviews of applications submitted by schools and libraries for discounts for equipment approved by American Rescue Plan Communicates with applicants and other stakeholders through various methods to obtain the required documentation required to process applications Utilizes E-Rate Procedures job aides checklists and other tools and documentation to process applications according to Program rules and guidelines Escalates issues and questions as they arise when processing Program documents Education and Experience Requirements High School diploma or GED required with a minimum of two years of college preferred Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products especially Excel Strong knowledge in IT networks infrastructure and or broadband communications Strong analytical skills required with attention to detail Works on assignments that are routine in nature however ability to adjust to complexities in work assignments as they arise Acquires job skills and learns applicable policies and procedures to complete assignments. Able to read understand & perform assignments within prescribed guidelines. Communicates routine information in a clear and accurate way with internal & external contacts.
