Switchgear Controls REVIT and Electrical Substation Design experience Remote Electrical Engineer I duties Provides CAD modeling for the physical design of substations e-houses and equipment rooms. This includes sitting of major equipment and support structures evaluating required clearances for access to equipment and routing raceways such as cable trays and conduits. Selects low- and medium-voltage feeder and branch circuit cabling based upon load requirements and sizes raceways (conduits cable trays etc.) as required to satisfy NEC requirements. Constructs electrical design detail drawings and grounding plans. Produces drawing packages for review by the Lead Engineer. Implements drawing corrections based upon review by the Lead Engineer. Reviews vendor shop drawings for conformance with project drawings and specifications. Preferred Additional Skills (Switchgear Controls) Constructs elementary schematic and wiring diagrams for field installation of relaying and control devices.
